One Paragraph Movie Review: All About Eve.

Fifth film: All About Eve. I almost didn’t notice the bitching, conniving, manipulative plot, razor-sharp wit-barbs, scene-stealing Monroe cameo, shifty Bette Davis eye movements and cigarette-flicking and suddenly-downed martinis because hot dang, the frocks were so nice. Also I am now going to train to be Bette Davis. It’s gonna take a lot of brooches and champagne, but I’m up to it. Three girdles out of five.
