One Paragraph Movie Review: Come Drink With Me

Eighty-seventh film: Come Drink With Me, or ‘Da Zui Xia’, which is both its native Mandarin title AND a great phrase to know if you’re ever in China. I tried, I really did, but 1966 English-dubbed martial arts movies just aren’t my thing, no matter how progressive they are with a female lead, or how fancy all the hats are. I’m not saying that this is a bad film, I’m just saying that all kung fu movies are bad. Good title though, and I can’t overstate how fancy the hats are. One extremely slow and laboured fight scene out of five.
